Lobby & Patient Admissions

Buffalo General Medical Center, Kaleida Health

Buffalo, New York

Design Synergies has provided architectural & design services to Kaleida Health for a series of small and mid-sized projects at Buffalo General Medical Center.  The Lobby, Admissions Department, and Infusion Center were completed in 2018.

Main Lobby & Admissions Department Renovation

Concurrent with the renovation of the main lobby at Buffalo General Medical Center, the facility‚Äôs Admissions Department moved into an adjacent space to facilitate a better patient registration process.  Design Synergies Architecture worked with Get Fresh Industries to provide interior design and FF&E services for this project, specifically the design, coordination, and specification of interior finishes, furniture, and interior signage.  Of special concern to the client was acoustical design, because of HIPAA requirements for patient privacy.  Our team worked with 3Form to specify an acoustically-rated light fixture and incorporate other acoustical treatments into each registration bay
